Holden tells Hello! Magazine that her grandmother was very influential on her current diet. "My grandmother would say, 'a little bit of everything does you good'," she says. Holden says that she eats a balanced diet, and indulges herself once in a while. "Enjoy the taste of a nice full Brie and a fatty old salty butter with massive lumps of sea salt in it. But just don't have it on everything every meal, put a bit on your jacket potato and then that's it for the day. So it's just enjoying those little treats."

Holden has been a vegetarian since she was 13, and she has even posed nude for PETA. Holden says to PETA that being a vegetarian has a lot of benefits. "My skin's always good. I never feel bloated. There are so many benefits." Holden says that she finds being vegetarian easy. "To anybody that thinks being a vegetarian is tricky – it's rubbish! There are so many products you can buy – meat substitute products if that's what you want. Vegetables, lentils, pulses – there are a million things that you can cook and use to substitute for meat."

Before live shows for Britain's Got Talent start, Holden likes to get in shape. And she has a unique way of doing so. "I go to a fitness camp in Portugal before the live shows," she tells DailyMail. "So for me it's lots of avocado, chickpeas, and quinoa salads as well as hikes and boxing. It's really good for your mindset, rather like unplugging your computer and plugging it back in."

Holden tells the DailyMail that yoga is one of her go-to workouts. However, she says she does yoga to focus on different things, rather than losing weight. "I practise a form of yoga, which is more to do with breath control and strength than getting sweaty," she says.

Holden tells the DailyMail that she doesn't diet, and says that she wants to enjoy her lifetime, and she's got a very good reason. "You have to enjoy life. I eat everything. Drink everything. I had a friend once who didn't make it to her 50s and her biggest regret was she spent her life on a diet. I don't diet."
