Toward the end of last year we reported that Ellen Degeneres was embarking on a campaign to have her US chat show air in the UK…and we’re now happy to report that it’s FINALLY HAPPENING!
The campaign drew support from UK comedian James Corden and all started because X Factor star and Smule singing sensation Tom Bleasby was invited on to her show and brought up the struggle us UK fans have of watching the show!
Thanks to ITV2, the struggle is over! The Ellen Degeneres Show will air in the UK soon. ITV have yet to comment on the matter of confirm a date or time we should expect to see the show, but with Ellen sharing the news on Twitter to her 52 million followers, a confirmation should follow soon!
Taking to Twitter to share the good news with the Hashtag that started it all, Ellen delighted her Youtube fans who have previously had no other option but to watch her show through the clips on her Youtube channel!
