Vince McMahon hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down despite the fact he will be 77 years old this summer.
The WWE chairman is still very much in control of every single aspect of the company and works out like an absolute maniac to keep him sharp.
He exercises every single day and persists with a strict diet as well.
McMahon has to eat at exact times and has his food weighed so he consumes exact grams of protein, carbohydrates and so on.
WWE’s corporate personal trainer, Michael A. Monteforte, posted a clip of the company chairman lifting some immensely heavy weights on leg day in March 2021.
Mr McMahon's mad leg day
Leg press and hack squats before doing 20 Reps with five plates on each side
Ten reps with six
Five reps with seven
To finish: One-repetition maximum with 22, 45lb plates
Chris Jericho was certainly impressed commenting that his former boss is the 'real Terminator'.
A number of wrestlers have commented on the ferocity with which McMahon trains.
"That guy, that’s what he does," The Undertaker told the Joe Rogan podcast. "His love is working out. He is phenomenal, man. His mum is 99 and is still playing Tennis in her 90s. That’s his trainer there.
"He’s the one guy, he will call me out of the clear blue and be ‘Hey, you workout today?’”
Former WWE champion Big E also spoke about how the trainer is at McMahon’s beck and call every single day.
“He has a personal trainer and this poor guy. We have these long drives, pre-pandemic, and we’ll get in around two or three in the morning and his personal trainer has been standing outside the whole time waiting for him because he’ll come in and work out after shows and after long drives.”
Sheamus, who picked McMahon as his dream workout partner, says he can’t lift as heavy as McMahon does.
“The guy’s a machine, mate. I’ve heard stories of him squatting nearly 700 pounds, which I can’t do. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to squat 700 pounds!
“He’s insane in the gym, he’ll train sometimes at two o’clock in the morning."
Vinnie Mac’s last official wrestling match occurred at WrestleMania 26 in a losing effort to Bret Hart in 2010.
However, there's 'no chance in hell' he'll stop himself from still getting involved in some capacity - taking serious bumps from CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens in the years since.
McMahon will probably outlive us all at this rate!
